Pastor James DeVaughn
Pastor James (Jamie) DeVaughn has served our church since 2001 After graduating from Lancaster Bible College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania with a degree in Bible and Christian Ministries, Jamie served as our Youth Pastor from 2001 until 2008, when he became our full-time pastor.
Born-again in March of 1993, his hunger for the Word provided spiritual growth as well as a desire to teach others. Always focused on the Word of God, he finds strength, direction, and power as he leads our church. His philosophy of ministry is twofold; 1) for the unsaved to encounter Jesus and 2) for the saved to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord.
His favorite scripture is 2nd Corinthians 5:17 “if any man is in Christ he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, behold all things become new.” It is this marvelous, transforming power of Jesus that he lives and shares with others.
His wife Suzie supports and engages in the ministry of FBC and is a devoted wife, mother of three sons and ‘Bibby’ to two grandchildren.
